By way of a quick update: the Charter of Engagement draft has I’m told been translated into Flemmish to be used in meetings about starting a national #opendata project there – and I’ve had lots of conversations where people are positive about the potential to use the five-stars and the charter more.
It would be great to find opportunities to do more work on developing this. I know there was mention of possibly doing something in Sheffield and CityCamp Brighton. What should we do to help take the charter and five-stars ideas forward?
Well, I’m happy to host something at CityCamp Brighton, either Saturday or Sunday (or both).
I’ve started to think/blog on this, but initial thought is to clearly outline what each stage means practically – either through examples, or guides to possible ways of implementing. Or is that too hands-on for a charter? My fear is that principles are fine, but butter no parsnips if people then get lost in a sea of tools.
