.Simply follow several handy points below to get you top level of quality wines with bargain deals and avoid them from the many rubbish the fact that inevitably could be lining any supermarket shelves.Firstly, stay away from the wine bottles sale tricks.Unfortunately, some wines sales arent while genuine as they definitely may first of all seem.In an effort to display the perfect discount, some retailers contain a nasty behavior of upping their list deals immediately in advance of they price cut them. The easiest way to avoid this really is to keep close track of the prices inside lead roughly the homemade wine sale.Similarly, its worth shopping for a lower wine, ?nstead of wine picked up in specifically for a homemade wine sale since the quality would be that more effective

Nou Camps: 5 months, 3 weeks ago · ViewNot really sure whether this counts as a GovCamp as it is aimed at the voluntary sector (and primarily orgs in the North West) really but we’re going to be holding So! VolTech (Social Media & Technology for the Voluntary Sector) in Blackpool on the 19th November 2011. We’re having a few speakers in the morning and then unConference sessions in the afternoon. There is more information at http://blog.sovoltech.co.uk/2011/08/introducing-so-voltech/ and it’d be great to hear from people who are interested!

.1.Get plenty of sleep early.Since sportsman sometimes take to the forest at any sort of hour for the day and / or night, and because they must keep still with their stands while awaiting prey so that you can approach, it is natural to start to be sleepy sometimes. But drifting off to sleep can come to be dangerous due to the risk with hypothermia or to fall out of your tree, if that is your perch.Get a minimum of six to eight hours a new day before any hunting trip.Avoid choosing medications that can make a person drowsy, unless you really will want them.
2.Eat a normal functioning meal before you go.Someone who is hungry as well as dehydrated can more speedily become chilled, lacking energy to warm their bodies adequately

Nou Camps: 1 year, 6 months ago · ViewI think that we need a GovCamp with a focus on culture, creative industries and tourism and I have already suggested quietly to 2 or 3 people that this should be held in Newcastle or Gateshead since both those local authorities have worked together to use culture to encourage and help kickstart regeneration.
+1 for this – with the announced death of MLA, could be a great opportunity to start some discussions!
Other relevant quangos are affected too, of course. It’s unclear yet whether the grants they administer and services they provide (such as continuing professional development) will disappear along with the quangos. The effects of the changes could be felt across many local authorities.

I’ve been talking to Stuart Harrison from Lichfield and one or two other people about the idea of creating a halfway house between a full on govcamp and something that would fit into the day job.
In London teacamps have been held which looks quite an attractive proposition.
The kind of half way house idea we came up with was a kind of hyperlocalgovcamp. This may be in an afternoon for three hours or sp with a few pre-announced sessions to coax newbies with a few other slots to allow the unconference to really flourish.
While this may be primarily attractive to West Midlands people, there’d be no-one at the door checking to see if you had said ’yam yam’ in polite conversation or not.
We’d kind of looked at the Light House in Wolverhampton as a suitable venue. Close to a train station. Central and
Any thoughts?
I’m in.
How is this progressing, Dan?
It’s actually going – quietly – pretty well. A few of us have met a couple of times and we’re scraping some money together for an afternoon shindig with some contributions from two sponsors.
We’re thinking September / October at Walsall College (they have warp speed wifi, a brand new building and my boss knows their boss and can do a bit of a deal.) Looking to meet this / next week to sort dates and get a space on this website sorted. In summary, starting to come together really nicely.
Brilliant to hear – great work all round!
That’s sounding great, Dan! Well done! ”Warp speed wifi,” huh? That’ll raise the bar for future full Govcamps!

Nou Camps: 1 year, 8 months ago · ViewThinking with Dave Briggs & Lesley Thompson of un-organising some sort of govcamp in Scotland. Any interested parties out there? – is it to be Glasgow, Edinburgh or somewhere else? Can anyone offer a venue?
I’m sure some of the folk at YoungScott might be interested: they’re working with LAs across Scotland and really exploring digital elements of that work at the moment…(http://www.youngscot.org/)
Hi Mary
I already have a fab venue in Edinburgh booked for 31 July. More info to follow.
Lesley
Brilliant news Lesley – but is 31 July when a lot of people will be away on holiday?
For various reasons, that’s the earliest we can manage. To avoid the holiday period completely we’d have to hold off until mid-September.
Sounds good Lesley – is this something that’s definite enough that we can all start to promote it & plan for it?
Pretty much. I just have to set aside some time to work up the masterplan
– will hopefully get this done at the weekend.

Nou Camps: 1 year, 8 months ago · ViewI’m no expert on this, but it has always struck me as a nice topic for an informal event like a GovCamp to do something about sustainability and environmental issues – a GreenGovCamp, maybe.
Is there already much activity on this topic? Much interest in taking the idea forward?
Probably bad form to reply to myself, but wanted to note that a few Twitter folk expressed an interest: @hokulele, @josswinn, @psychemedia, @Jlowthrop, @marxculture, @danosirra
I can guarantee that Bridget McKenzie @bridgetmck would love that idea!
Yep – over here!
Cool! Seems to be a lot of interest on Twitter too. Maybe a separate group is needed!
There’s definitely demand for it. By coincidence, I was thinking of doing pretty much the same thing…
Interested, but similar thought to re Big Society:not sure ’Gov’ is the right prefix. Something more like ’Big Green Society’? (perhaps not!) but something including gov, just not led by it.

Nou Camps: 1 year, 8 months ago · ViewOver on the about page I started a list of defining features for a GovCamp: They are free to attend They have no set, pre-defined agenda There is a strong focus on attendee participation They integrate nicely with online stuff They have nice give-aways They are relentlessly positive, constructive and creative Does anyone have anything to add to the [...]
Dave, does The Big Society warrant a special UKGovCamp? I posted some thoughts here http://www.ukgovcamp.com/groups/democratic-engagement-and-social-media/forum/topic/whats-the-best-way-forward-for-the-big-society/ With Greg in post there’s a terrific opportunity for a GovCamp to take a lead in influencing emergent thinking.
Hi Anne – I certainly think a ’camp approach would be a great way of exploring the issues.I see Will Perrin has written a bit about it here: http://talkaboutlocal.org.uk/bigsociety/
Whether ’Gov’ is the right prefix for such a ’camp though, I’m not so sure! Hopefully I am not being unbearably meta about this, but it might be best if such a thing isn’t predominantly led by government – maybe it sits better with David Wilcox and his Social by Social crew?

Nou Camps: 1 year, 8 months ago · ViewAnyone interested in a 2010 Lincoln GovCamp? I need to know numbers of interested parties so pop your answer and name on this here form: http://ht.ly/1Mv7N
Count me in, Andrew! Might be worth explicitly making the Lincoln one a webby GovCamp? It kind of was anyway last time, by accident probably rather than design, but I think that gives it a useful focus? Not sure what you think.
I’m hot and cold on that one; I think we were definately restricted with space and numbers as to what sessions we could run but I’d like to get a little more diversity into it if we do a 2010 camp… I know my background is web rather than, say, policy, but I know that it’s not only webbies that attend these gigs. I’m not sure whether specifically aiming the camp at webbies might detract people from attending?
What made me ask, actually, was because of the success of the Cheltenham one, which was purely about project management, of all things. It was a really good day and the focus meant a lot of people attended who would normally come near a ’camp. Having some focus lets you run sessions that are really specialised, which is A Good Thing, and besides, there are plenty of generalcamps happening… not that I’m trying to persuade you!
Of COURSE I’d be keen on govcamp in Lincoln. I was sorry to miss the last one and can’t help but see them as a vital thing.
