Nou Camps: 1 year, 9 months ago · ViewI think that we need a GovCamp with a focus on culture, creative industries and tourism and I have already suggested quietly to 2 or 3 people that this should be held in Newcastle or Gateshead since both those local authorities have worked together to use culture to encourage and help kickstart regeneration.
+1 for this – with the announced death of MLA, could be a great opportunity to start some discussions!
Other relevant quangos are affected too, of course. It’s unclear yet whether the grants they administer and services they provide (such as continuing professional development) will disappear along with the quangos. The effects of the changes could be felt across many local authorities.
