SouthWestLocalGovCamp: 10 months, 1 week ago · ViewHi there,
Heard from my friend who used to work at Exeter Football Club and he says The Grecian Centre at the club would be a good room that can hold around 60 people. Let me know if it’s a potential goer as he reckons name-dropping may reduce a possible £10 per head charge!?

SouthWestLocalGovCamp: 10 months, 3 weeks ago · ViewHi all,
Checking with a friend tonight who has contacts at Exeter Football Club about facilities / costs there. Don’t know myself what it’s like but I’ll angle for a ’mate’s rate’ and feedback when I hear something. -

SouthWestLocalGovCamp: 10 months, 4 weeks ago · ViewHi Carl,
Great stuff and well done on getting the ball rolling; had a read of your blog and will start thinking on some of the queries and feedback. In terms of help, some of it may be limited depending on where the Camp ends up taking place and my availability to get there but in terms of pre-planning or anything else etc (or if the Camp ends up in Cornwall) I’m only too willing to lend a virtual or real hand!
Cheers
MattThanks Matt, yes the location will be critical and has to be somewhere which allows for the majority of people to attend. IN terms of drive time, Exeter looks the most logical location and I’ve already sent an email into the Met office asking about the availability of their venue which is very nice of course – providing its meets our requirements
If it’s Exeter, I’ll have to make a weekend of it.Can’t go there and not spend some time bird watching on the estuary!
